Dinesh Gambhir, PhD, is the founder and CEO of First Outcomes and a three-time healthcare and technology entrepreneur. Years before generative AI made headlines, he saw where American healthcare was heading: too few doctors, not enough money to care for an aging population, and clinicians buried in administrative work. He founded First Outcomes to meet that future with AI agents that do the work themselves.

That bet is paying off. First Outcomes' AI agents now complete more than 240,000 administrative actions a month for community health centers in California and New York, answering patient calls, scheduling Annual Wellness Visits, verifying eligibility, closing referral loops, and delivering Advanced Primary Care Management. Built on defined, workflow-driven logic rather than open-ended generative models, they produce consistent, auditable results inside the systems health centers already use.

After roles at Deloitte and Hewlett-Packard, he served as CTO of 4GL School Solutions, co-founded Navatar Group, architected solutions for Salesforce, and co-founded HealthExpense, which he helped lead for more than six years. He holds a PhD and an MSc in Computer Science from New York University and a BEng in Computer Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal.
